LIFE CLASSES

Stunning. Revelatory. Essential viewing. LIFE CLASSES is the story of Mary Cameron, who leaves her Cape Breton home for Halifax to have a baby and, after modeling nude at the ‘life classes’ at a local art college to earn extra income, ends up an artist in her own right. “MacGillivray’s films are ‘intelligent about life’ on many levels; I consider LIFE CLASSES the finest Canadian film I have seen.” Robin Wood.

Recently restored through the Audio-Visual Preservation Trust Masterworks Program.
