northern lights,
-40°C in winter, 24-hour daylight in summer,
a bar affectionately known as “The Arm Pit”,
and a film festival!
Imagine a classless society where young and old,
employed and unemployed,
artist and labourer,
professional and slacker intermingle —
dressed in gumboots, long johns and parkas.
And, of course, we still mine gold!
