François Girard | 1993 | Documentary | 98 minutes
François Girard’s breakthrough film is the most trenchant and exhaustive exploration of the Gould myth. Colm Feore’s performance as Gould is genuinely astounding, intimate and, somehow, mythic. Sumptuously photographed and designed, 32 Short Films About Glenn Gould remains one of the most successful Canadian films of all time and has an enormous cult following. (Cinematheque Ontario.)
